Meet Chloe Barlow, year 12 student at Yarram Secondary College AND one of our newest Personal Care Assistants at YDHS.

Chloe is one of our first school-based apprentices to complete her Personal Care Certificate while undertaking her secondary studies as part of a collaborative program between YDHS and Yarram Secondary College.

Since joining us at YDHS, Chloe has become an integral part of our team, demonstrating a high level of dedication, compassion and an incredibly strong work ethic.

She hopes to pursue a Registered Nursing program next year and based on what we’ve seen from her at YDHS, we’ve no doubt that she’ll excel in this field.

We’re so pleased that this program is able to provide senior secondary students with hands-on experience in aged care and an opportunity to learn from a range of experienced healthcare professionals while completing their studies.

In fact, it’s been so successful that we’ve already welcomed a new school-based apprentice who’ll be following in Chloe’s footsteps.
