When you enter our foyer, you may notice a new mural hanging on the wall.

We commissioned the five Aboriginal Shields that stand proudly out the front of our service to be presented in artwork that could be displayed inside our building.

The shields, unveiled on the recent Closing the Gap Day ceremony, represent the clans of the Gunaikurnai people, who are the traditional owners of much of Gippsland. The shields were made by the Wulgunggo Ngalu Learning Place and represent:

  • Brataualung people
  • Brayakaulung
  • Brabralung people
  • Tatungalung people
  • Krauatungalung people

Our CEO, Paul Head, is pictured with the mural. Please take a moment to have a look at the beautiful mural.
