The new timeline for the completion of this development is November 2019. The project is currently on time according to the revised schedule developed in April after YDHS received the clearance certificate for the removal of hazardous substances from the site.

Flu Vac

Staff Flu vaccination is currently at 84%. Vaccinations will continue to be offered to staff groups and it is expected that the majority of staff will be vaccinated by the end of June 2019.

Q&A Session Review

In 2018, half yearly Q & A Sessions were implemented to provide an opportunity for the community to meet with the Board and Executive to discuss issues of interest.

The Q & A Sessions proved to be popular with the community and the Board agreed that:

  • The sessions are of value to all participants
  • The format of Session 2 was a marked improvement on Session 1
  • The Sessions should continue and that 2 Sessions each year was considered sufficient
  • Sessions should promote an open dialogue with clear outcomes and direction for YDHS.
