20 years is a long time right? It’s 7,305 days in fact.

To help put that into context, 20 years ago, or 2005, was the year that Grey’s Anatomy debuted on our screens, our current monarch King Charles announced his engagement to Camilla Parker Bowles and for the sports fans, a then 17-year old Lionel Messi scored his first senior goal for FC Barcelona.

It was also the year that Patrina O’Neill (pictured with our Director of Clinical Services Sally Weatherley) joined the team at YDHS as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and we’re so pleased that she did.

Over the last 20 years, we’ve benefited enormously from having Patrina on the team as she’s progressed from PCA to Enrolled Nurse. Patrina brings an extensive amount of experience and knowledge to our team here and we were thrilled recently to be able to recognise her 20 years of service at YDHS.
