YDHS Allied Health Staff Granted Special Funding Support

Physiotherapist, Prisca Gabiana and Occupational Therapist, Caroline Lubach have both successfully applied for funding support for their further studies.

The funding has been granted by Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH).

Prisca’s funding of $1,500 will support her further study in the area of Rehabilitation and Prevention of Cardiac Disease.

Caroline’s funding of $7,500 will support her postgraduate study for a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management.

As long time Senior Therapists at Yarram and District Health Service, Prisca and Caroline form a key part of the Allied Health team. Their further study will ensure that the Allied Health team is able to provide up-to-date and well managed therapy services to people in the Yarram area.
